Sessions and Fees

Opening Hours

Open between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday throughout the year except bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.  The Lookout Day Nursery offers flexible childcare to suit the needs of each individual family.

We will also offer an Afterschool and Holiday club, picking up from Atworth, Bathford and Monkton Farleigh Primary schools to help parents manage their family even as their children move on to the school years.

Sessions

We completely understand that paying for childcare is a significant expense for parents. We try and keep our fees to a realistic level, which allows us to reward our staff team for their dedication and qualifications. Our management team will be able to provide you with full details of our fees.

For continuity of care, the opportunity to form strong relationships we ask that children are registered for a minimum of 2 sessions a week

Sessions are – 

AM – 8am – 1pm – £46.50

PM – 1pm – 6pm – £46.50

All day – 8am – 6pm – £84.50

Additional hours – £9.50 per hour

The Lookout Club – £7.26 per hour

We include everything in our fees, no need to remember sun cream, nappies, snacks… at The Lookout we try to make life easy for you as parents.  All we ask is you pack for the weather that day, be it waterproofs or a swimming cossie, and a few spare clothes items (we provide the bag during your settling in period) for little accidents or lots of muddy play! 

Settling In

It is important that your family feels comfortable at our nursery from the very start so we offer as many settling in sessions as you need. Once you have decided to join us at The Lookout we will tailor a settling in process to suit the needs of you and your family.

Funding

We are happy to sign post parents to any help which is available with fees, including details of how the government’s Tax Free Childcare initiative works, and how you can access the Early Years Entitlement (currently for some 2 year olds and all 3 and 4 year olds, and to include the new 2 year old funding) This includes the 15 hour funding and the 30 hour funding.
